Laura Stephens visit to Harwich Swimming Club
Former Harwich swimmer Laura Stephens, who represented England in the butterfly in this year’s Commonwealth games on the Gold Coast in Australia and has won medals in the 2017 Swim England National Winter Championships and 2016 European Junior Championships, spent an evening with Harwich Swimming Club last week delivering a butterfly clinic to all squad members. She was ably assisted by her sister Emily who also learnt to swim with Harwich and is now back coaching with the Club. This was a thoroughly enjoyable evening for all the swimmers and a vast improvement could be seen in their technique. They were all given the opportunity to have photos taken with Laura and get her autograph at the end of the session. The Club would like to thank her for offering this excellent opportunity for the Harwich swimmers.
